The following error codes appear when using the CopperCart Update Agent v2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and Automatic Updates in OverRender OverText 2022. The fixes listed on this page may not all apply to older versions.
Error code: 106
When checking for updates, the Update Agent has to reach an initialization control (located on the CopperCart Update servers) to find out which configuration it has to use. This file is listed as a ".cuagent" file on the server. When the Update Agent is unable to reach that file, it stops looking for update and throws this error. You will likely have to check your Internet connection (proxy, firewall, etc.) or wait for a server update to fix the bug.
Unsupported versions of the CopperCart Update Agent will also throw this error code if they rely on that initialization control.
Error code: 107
This happens when the version number of your current OverRender software is higher than the one on the CopperCart Update server. This may occur if we're editing the files on the server, or if your browser cache is not empty. Clean it and try again. Also make sure that you're not using beta software, as it could have a higher version number than its release version. Error code: 108
This error code appears when the CopperCart Update Agent does not recognize your OverRender software and its version number. Versions too old may cause this error. Make sure that you're not using outdated OverRender software and try again. Old versions of the CopperCart Update Agent may also not be able to reach certain endpoints to check for updates, thus throwing this error.
Error code: 112
The Update Agent errors out with code 111 when it is unable to download the updates you selected. This error may occur if the required files are no present on the server, or if the Update Agent cannot reach the necessary download endpoints.
Error code: 113 (OverText Automatic Updates)
The Automatic Updates service in OverText 2022 relies on the same initialization control as the one listed at the top of this page. This error code will occur in the same circumstances as error 106, but will be shown in the popup window OverText shows on startup, when Automatic Updates are set to "Notify" or "Enabled".
